Returning: Hotel Babylon

The third season of the raunchy UK drama is coming to UK TV with a glitzy roll call of stars.

Raunchy UK drama Hotel Babylon will have its third season on the UK TV channel in February.

Once again starring Max Beesley and Australia’s Natalie Mendoza the second and third series was originally promised to return to Nine this year (but so far, no sign).

Guest appearances for this series include American Idol’s Paula Abdul, Australian actor Daniel Lapaine, Alan Davies, Nathaniel Parker, John Barrowman, Michael Landes, Samantha Bond, Nicholas Rowe, Manchester United footballer Lee Sharpe, male model Laurence Edney and opera diva Lesley Garrett.

It’s back Monday February 16 at 9:30pm.

Press Release:
Indulge yourself at Hotel Babylon, a place where you can have whatever you want – for the right price. From a Grand Prix victory celebration to the perfect venue from which to launch a new fashion range, the staff at Hotel Babylon work tirelessly to meet the demands of the glamorous, image-obsessed customers.

Inspired by Imogen Edwards-Jones’ searing exposé of life behind the scenes of the luxury hotel industry in London, Hotel Babylon takes us on a journey beyond the glamour and façade of the smiling faces and glittering chandeliers and into the frenetic, non-stop world of the staff.

Series 3 sees Charlie gain the coveted role of General Manager. But is it all plain sailing? With a fashion show, a diamond auction and auditions for a new West-end musical, he’s got lots of work on his plate. And will he and Anna ever find romance?

We also meet Emily, a gorgeous, upper-class English rose and the new public relations expert for the hotel. But will everyone welcome her arrival – especially when she’s already had the opportunity to study their work methods in secret? And when the hotel gets poor reviews, could it spell disaster for the future – for both hotel and staff? But then Emily manages to secure the society event of the year – the wedding of a multimillionaire’s daughter.

Guest appearances for this series include American Idol’s Paula Abdul, Australian star Daniel LaPaine, Alan Davies, Nathaniel Parker, John Barrowman, Michael Landes, Samantha Bond, Nicholas Rowe, Manchester United footballer Lee Sharpe, male model Laurence Edney and opera diva Lesley Garrett, among others.

Stars: Max Beesley (Bodies, Talk to Me); Dexter Fletcher (Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels); Emma Pierson (Charles II, Talk To Me); Natalie Mendoza (Moulin Rouge, South Pacific)

  1. Excellent news.

I have the first two seasons of the fantastic UK program on DVD and I can’t wait for season 3.

I have absolutely no idea why Nine is hesitant in added this to their schedule.

  2. The 1st season is currently on BBC HD, with the 2nd starting after that. Looks fantastic in HD, for what I believe was the BBC’s first HD production.

  3. Thank goodness someone has the sense to be showing this. One of my favourite UK shows. Not the funniest nor is it the best produced but very good UK TV that was screwed over by Nine.

    Bring on Babylon
