The trailer for the second part of Battlestar Galactica’s fourth frackin’ season is now online.

Consisting of 10 episodes it will begin airing in the US on January 16, 2009. Some of these episodes are believed to run longer than traditional eps with the series finale possibly running for up to four hours.

Fans are also expecting a 2hr telemovie directed by Edward James Olmos and a spin-off series, Caprica.

    I’m with both previous comments!
Having to wait till January has been painful, but at least I have HD set top box! And Internet! The best of both Worlds.

Thank you TV Tonight for the ad! Saves me from looking for it!

To Channel Ten, here’s another sci fi you can put on, all of Alien Nation, just a suggestion!

Okay if the final runs 4 hours then why not just have 13 eps instead of 10?

This is on my must DL list as we don’t get 10HD here!

Galactica is unusual in that it has been given the opportunity to craft it’s entire final season to be a finale. Lost will have that opportunity also.

It’s a shame too many great shows just get yanked without the chance to end satisfyingly.

Well, JohnTV, you’ll at least get to see it. TenHD viewers will have to resort to gigabytes of downloading or miss out completely.

Not a fan of the series myself, but I feel sorry for those who are and aren’t aware yet that it’ll be gone for good from Australian FTA…
