By David Knox on December 1, 2008 / Filed Under News 6

Delta Goodrem will top the bill of Sydney’s Carols in the Domain.

Goodrem said she would be joined on stage by Brian McFadden while Shannon Noll, Guy Sebastian and Paulini will also appear.

“As a Sydneysider I couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of my home town’s Christmas spectacular. I am so excited to be coming home for Christmas,” Goodrem said.

Carols in the Domain will be hosted by Kate Richie on December 20 with a co-host yet to be announced.

Grant Denyer has also said he intends to be ready to return to a co-hosting role, following his accident in September.

Other performers will include David Hobson, The Wiggles and country crooner Melinda Scheider.

Delta and Brian performed in Carols by Candlelight in 2006. Brian McFadden is set to become one of very few overseas artists to have performed in both the Sydney and Melbourne carols.

Much better line up than last year :P I love Delta she suits Carol’s so well. Thank God Kate Ritchie’s hosting, if i had to see Sonya Kruger, Shelley Craft or Jo Griggs or someone on there I’d kill myself.

weren’t delta and brian on candlelight last year? this will get up 9′s goat especially as brian is a bigger name now as opposed to ‘deltas boyfriend’ last year.
