Star line up for Screenwriters’ Conference

Australian Writer’s Guild has got itself a coup with news that Melrose Place, 90210 and Sex and the City legend Darren Star will head a line up of guest speakers at the 2009 National Screenwriters Conference.

Star joins other special guest speakers include Rolf de Heer, The Black Balloon’s writer/director Elissa Down, Andrew Bovell (Lantana) and Jan Sardi (Shine).

The event will be held from February 25 to 27 in the Barossa Valley.

Star was also behind Cashmere Mafiaand Grosse Point.
