Producer’s Guild of America: 2009 Nominees

Hollywood's best begin to choose Mad Men, Damages, Dexter, 30 Rock and John Adams once more.

Award season is rolling around very fast (Oscar nominees are not to be announced until January 22nd) and the Producer’s Guild of America has announced its nominees for its annual awards.

In television we again see names like Mad Men, Damages, Dexter, 30 Rock and John Adams.

  1. Its always the same shows on every awards show. I just don’t get the appeal for 30 Rock and Mad Men. Both overrated IMO. I agree Steve it’d be nice for BL to finally win something although I again predict it will be neglected in favour of a cynical cable show (Mad Men or Dexter…)

  2. I would love Boston Legal to win an award in recognition of what a great show it has been over 5 seasons, but I fear that it will never do well in a “drama” category because there is so much comedy associated with the show. I guess it really falls under the category of “dramedy” (like Desperate Housewives).
