I just read that she had passed way, I remember me and my sisters (The Smith Sisters) singing at her wedding reception in Perth at Uncle Domonics resturant. Me and family moved back to the UK in 1984 had many happy memories often Christies name would come up in conversation. She was truelly a very talented lady and god bless her xxx

Yes sadly Christie Allen passed away on August 12th 2008 at the age of 54, after a short(ish) battle with pancreatic cancer (she only learned she had it in March 2008).

Christie’s dead? I must be getting old. She was sensational. Goosebumps was one of my fave songs when I was young.

It’s a real shame they are not showing any flashez clips they were one of the highlights from last year.

Still three 1980 episodes so I’m not complainin’ too much! I have the 1979 episode which is a repeat but that is understandable given it was hosted by Christie.

Caught a bit this morning.
Skyhooks with Horror Movie clip – what a hoot !
Oh Goosebumps and Tusk bring back fond memories.
All we need now is bit Of Devo to totally screw my brain and Emerson Lake & Palmer with Fanfare for Common man and the tunes will be stuck in head for ages.
