Bring back the Scully family and re-cast Joe Scully as he added a bit of humour to the show. Also bring back House Of Trouser especially Stu Parker as their could be a bit of friction between himself and Dan as the hero of Ramsay Street.

I think they have too many characters, they should cut it down to 20 or less. although I am not against these new characters, instead they should write out some of the unrelated characeters because the show should really be about families.

Andrew- Polish actress who played Maria was Dasha Blahova. Alas, she, her husband, Max, and younger son, Danny, didn't make the cross-over from Seven to Ten. I wish I could remember how their characters' exits from the street were explained. I always thought it odd that they were such a key part of the Seven version but never made it to Ten.

Although I quit Neighbours since after the parkers arrived. I can't really see this family staying very long. But they are great actors playing very unlikable and dull characters.

Ando - I agree that general simplicity in plots and characters is the way, but you can tell how desperate the show is for younger viewers. I don't see what long-terms viewers will get in the 3 Ramsay siblings arriving in Ramsay Street just for namesake. Its obvious the intention is to attract young viewers rather than pulling viewers back to the show.

This would have been very newsworthy had the Producers decided to bring back fan favourite characters

They need to do something with this show, the new grittier looking version for me has taken off the polish of what was once a bright and fast moving show and although simple in plot and characters ....was still worth a look. The new look has been terrible, I had to turn up the brightness on my TV early on as the grade for me was way too dark.... this has only recently been rectified.

for those people wanting a bit of multicultural Ramsay action... they could bring back Maria Ramsay who left the show rather abruptly in its Channel 7 days. She was played by a Polish actress IIRC.

damo, as somebody who watches the show on a daily basis and as a huge fan I can safely say Neighbours wont be going anywhere.

It is not only looking up to date and fresh but since Susan Bower took over as the producer the storylines and cast have improved greatly and the shows ratings have also improved on what they were a year ago.

The show is one of Ten's most watched shows and is Britan's 4th higherst rated soap, so all is well with Ramsay Street.

Don't watch the show these day, I don't recongise anyone from the 1980's apart from Paul, Lou and Harold, who are all legends of course. I wish some of the past characters return to Ramsay Street.

On second thoughts Craig Mclaughlen isn't doing bugger all at the moment and i can't see why he wouldn't jump at the chance to become a regular ala Paul.
