Auditions: Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?

By David Knox on March 26, 2009 / Filed Under News 20

fifthg1TEN is calling for a new class of kids for Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?

Like the kids in Skins, the Fifth Graders from the last series have outgrown their stay.

To be considered for an audition, applicants must send a photo to TEN and a brief biog including parent’s or guardian’s contact details (including email details) along with a DVD demonstrating why you want to be on the show.

The DVD must be no longer than 3 minutes in length. TEN says “You can do a show and tell on your favourite topic, tell us about your hobbies, sports, academic achievements, fave subjects at school, holidays etc. Just have fun with it and most importantly tell us why you want to be a part of this great fun show.”

Go to www.ten.com.au/5thgrader for all the details. Applications close April 17th, 2009.

Please do not contact TV Tonight for audition information, or ask about further auditions beyond April 17.

Good call David on the Skins kids, I miss Maxxie!!!! Is Rove trying to monopolize 10, and be the new Grundy?? ‘Cause it’s certainly working, how many shows has he got this year?? Plus that one they want to put on at 7pm… if it goes ahead, and judging on the amount Channel Ten is relying on Rove, it will

What’s the bet that Fifth Grader ends up being Roving’s 7pm replacement to MasterChef?
