US rocker Pete Wentz was both host and winner at the MTV Australia Awards.
Wentz hosted the show in Sydney and took out Best Rock Video for Fall Out Boy’s I Don’t Care.
He beat strong contenders Kings of Leon, The Killers, Paramore and Kaiser Chiefs for one of the music network’s highest accolades.
US pop star Pink clinched best video for So What (pictured), while former Australian Idol singer Jessica Mauboy was crowned favourite Aussie.

How can this award show even be considered Australian? MTV clearly don’t think Australian music is good enough to stand in its own right…
It was much improved over last years’!!
The awards show was great. Its just a bummer that i didnt get to finish it! It went overtime, and the IQ finished recording before the show finished!! You’d think foxtel could’ve updated their EPG to make sure the people who are recording would get the whole thing!
