Gilmore was 119,000 only in Syd / Mel.

Clone Wars is strong yes. By comparison Video Hits was 159,000. Though Saturday Disney is higher.

ETA – David did you get ratings for Gilmore Girls since Clone Wars is listed.

    Star Wars Clone Wars 223,000.

Is that number good for a cartoon at 11:30/12:00 on a Saturday morning?

  7. Andrew B March 22, 2009 at 12:43 pm -

Don’t understand why 7HD playing AFL grand final replay this morning. Fair enough in Melbourne, but for the rest of us, surely the hardcore fans who’d watch it again would have the DVD?

Sunrise replayed at 11am on 7HD is a good idea, as 7am too early to be up on a Sunday! It’s something to have on in the background remotely interesting. Annoyed it was not on this morning.

What’s with the huge swing from week to week with 10’s Friday ratings?

wow medium went up like 240,000 on the previous week, and law and order was also up. good! these shows are great

  13. Tepee March 21, 2009 at 1:14 pm -

Good to see new Simpsons and Medium improving by a few hundred k on last week.

Manna – SVU season final? That can’t be right.

  15. David Knox March 21, 2009 at 10:12 am -

Yes I know it was, as listed in Programming. But I’m not about to change the title as submitted to OzTAM.

  16. Johnson March 21, 2009 at 10:03 am -

The “sport special” listed in Friday’s ratings is called The Essence of the Game. I think Seven and Nine will be disappointed with the ratings last night, The Essence of the Game (246,000) and the live rugby league (203,000) both losing to Medium and Law and Order.

  17. Zen Man March 20, 2009 at 10:06 pm -

    20 to 1!!!!

Are people so deprived of a social life that they have to listen to commentary from H-Grade celebrities about how embarrassing it was to dance to the Macarena back in ’95.

  18. Benny March 20, 2009 at 9:24 pm -

The NRL footy show is just terrible. Watching Vautin struggle to use a verb in a sentence is just painful to watch. The AFL version seems to be a much more professional event. Even the AFL players are better spoken than the NRL show’s hosts.

  19. Manna March 20, 2009 at 8:27 pm -

great to see that for SVU … as season final, was one of their best ever episodes

  20. Andrew B March 20, 2009 at 7:15 pm -

Surprised one of the FTAs have not picked up Jay Leno for tonight only. Been on every news with Obama as guest. Will probably be the highest rating episode ever – both here on Comedy and US on NBC.

  21. vid March 20, 2009 at 6:13 pm -

good to see 20to1 is doing well!!
    its just a great concept!

  22. ryan March 20, 2009 at 5:00 pm -

gueralla gardners did well this week! ten would be happy its finally rising in ratings, and the ep was the best yet too. bondivet is doing great things for ten rising week by week, i expect it to crack the mill next week. s.v.u is doing ok but i expect higher ratings for it because 20 to 1 is s**thouse! life on mars is just a shocking show!! it needs a 10.30 timeslot!

  23. Harry March 20, 2009 at 4:01 pm -

Brandex, TEN will not put Supernatural on Monday over NCIS.. it doesnt rate. NCIS did well considering its a repeat on at 9.40pm.

Good number for SVU and Bondi Vet. Ten would be happy with both of those. Life On Mars is officially a failure and The Footy Shows figures dropped greatly. I thought it was very entertaining towards the end.. too many discussions about Geelong, seriously no-one cares about Ablett Snr.

how come Nine news in sydney jumped that much …it is usually about 100 k less?? a typo? surely that many people could’nt watch overton…..nah…….

PP is climbing while LoM seems to be dropping, looks like news of its axing won’t make too much of a difference to Ten at all. Even Life got 100,000 more viewers, and that show’s been on the bubble since it premiered. And Ghost Whisperer is really popular for some reason

Good to see 20 to 1 drop significantly from last week. It is probably as close to the bottom of the barrel you can get. You need the brain capacity of a ham sandwich to follow it.

I agree Rutzie, The NRL Footy Show is an absolute shocker that probably won’t survive beyond this year. I used to be a religious viewer, but it has well and truely jumped the shark.

At least 20-1 wasn’t top non-news last night. I think the footy shows have past their used by dates now and may do better being re-vamped as more of a 1 hour preview show of the football coming up for the weekend without all the carry on (, who’s playing, when and where, the laddder, etc…). Would draw a wider audience then.

The Footy Show lost a hell of a lot of viewers compared to last week. I actually caught some last night and they had some stupid quiz. I use to watch but now it’s just pathetic. Brayshaw = still annoying, Crawford = still immature, Sam Newman = still an idiot, it hasn’t changed.

I’ll be very surprised if the NRL Footy Show lasts the season. It is terrible viewing. I used to be a massive fan of the show but now I think it’s time is up. Interesting to note both Private Practice and Q&A beat it easily in Sydney.

Is it just me or has channel Nine been gaining a lot of of viewers lately? A lot of people can say that channel Nine is “crap” and everything, but compared to last year, Channel Nine’s ratings has gone up. There used to be quite a large gap between seven and Nine, but now Nine has slowly reduced the size of that gap. Hopefully Sunday Night will be axed very soon, as it is “crap”, or maybe they should keep it so Nine get even further?!
