  3. This show rocks!!!!

the show is already the best after only a couple of week`s and i think it should win a logie. My fav desginer is Chontelle (sorry if i spelt it wrong) but i love all u guys and just to tell u u r doing a renovation close to my own house.Peace !!

  4. Awesome, awesome awesome!
Had a look at some of these designers profiles and they are amazing. This should be a knock out show… beats Domestic Blitz for me. These are real, everyday families struggling like everyone else through the Global Financial Crisis and they are given such a wonderful oppurtunity. Lucky ducks!!

  5. tommyk, i agree.

u can add the outdoor room and guerrilla gardiners to that list.
This show was green lighted while DB was getting 1.5-1.6 and appeared to be climbing. 9 obviously thought that the great backyard show phase of 2002 was back and went off their heads throwing money at reno shows. but it appears the phase never happened and DB’s short success was just a fluke.

time will tell, it looks very high budget and 9 is committing a lot of airtime and ad time to it which IMO is the right way to go, but at the same time it is the budget and airtime that will hurt the most if it lands on the ever growing list of 9’s expensive flops.

  6. With BL finished and Merlin starting this may do ok for 9 that’s if they give it more than 2 weeks will probably struggle against sevens powerhouse RSPCA/ZOO/FMF on Tuesday

  7. well that’s annoyng, the Sunday 6.30 time for both HomeMade and Merlin overlaps with my regular 6pm Seven News recording, so something’s gotta give.

  8. will there be a host?

i have my doubts over this. domstic blitz, battlefronts, second chance, and chopping block all recieved less than desired ratings of late, some were terrible ratings. and most of them were Sunday 6:30.

  9. If successful, it should win it’s Sunday time slot and hopefully improve Tuesdays.

Tuesday is a tough night for Nine but Underbelly Uncut may do well or at least better than Hell’s Kitchen and Bridezillas.

Hopefully Homemade will be a hit. Better than repeats and rubbish.

  10. this may do alright on sundays, I dont see Merlin setting the world on fire on TEN in that 6.30pm slot and Sunday Night is struggling along on 7..Sounds like a same old, same old kind of reno show though…yawn!
