Performing on the night are Britain’s dance troupe Stomp, the hilarious, a performance from Avenue Q, singer Cassie Davis, and Hoodoo Gurus, who will close the show.
“The awards ceremony itself is shaping up to be an old fashioned variety show on steroids,” said CEO Debra Richards.
“From the extensive and outstanding news coverage, to the sports that satisfies every passion in the country, documentaries that move people, music that gets the nation dancing, comedy that provides needed joy and laughter, to the very best of Australian drama, the Annual ASTRA Awards are an opportunity to showcase and celebrate all of this.”
Project Runway mentor, Henry Roth will be doing fashion commentary and interviews with the celebrities on the red carpet and the next girls from Australia’s Next Top Model will also be introduced.
A full broadcast will be available On Demand for Foxtel iQ subscribers from April 23.

Agree it should be shown live on one of the channels – or even the 222 channel they set up for the voting.
As previously reported there will be highlights across several channels as interstitials.
How about those who have regular Foxtel. Will we get to see it???
