Closed Circuit IDs on SciFi
The Sci Fi Channel got a bit carried away with promo for its new "closed circuit camera" IDs.

The Sci Fi Channel has added new channel IDs that might have you looking twice.
Built around a “closed circuit camera” each of the short clips are just a little bit twisted. There are creatures emerging from car boots, bodies disappearing into garbage bins and assorted weird pranks.
The channel got a little bit excited in sending out the info to media with the bold claim that, “There are over 11000 CCTV cameras in every major Australian city. Sci Fi Channel has footage from every single CCTV camera. Sci Fi will transmit it.”
A spokesperson from Sci Fi admitted the wording was a bit of creative license, even though it was sent to media on April 2.
Maybe the stunts are just to avoid deciding whether it’s going to switch to ‘Syfy’? Or “Siffy” as the spokesperson dubbed it…

I saw them on the scifi website. I found it stupid
I thought the promos were excellent…Fascinating even. Too bad I’ve just dropped the channel from my Austar package lol.
