whodun“Water always wins,” says the Doctor.

And water will no doubt feature a lot in the next Doctor Who special to air in the UK supposedly around November.

“Waters of Mars” features Lindsay Duncan (Lost in Austen, Agatha Christie’s Poirot, Spooks) as the Doctor’s companion Adelaide, said to be the Doctor’s cleverest and most strong-minded companion yet.

“Planet of the Dead” aired in Britain over Easter and David Tennant’s final two episodes will air over the Christmas period as a two-parter.

The program went to air in the UK last weekend, the reviews haven’t been too positive unfortunately. The major highlight of this show is that it’s the first episode of Who to be recorded in HD.
Will be watching that on ABC HD! Now the icing on the cake would be full surround sound too.

Any word on when we’ll get Planet of the Dead here, if it aired in the UK a week or so ago, shouldn’t that mean we’ll get it some time in the next couple of weeks? (Using the last Xmas Special as a guide-line)
