FOX renews Lie to Me

Good news for one of TEN's newer acquisitions as the Tim Roth drama wins another 13 eps.

lie-to-me-timLie to Me has won a renewal from FOX for an additional 13 episodes.

The Shield‘s Shawn Ryan will take over as its new showrunner, although he is currently attached to The Unit -a show that is yet to be renewed by CBS.

In the US Lie to Me scored its best ratings in five weeks last week. Its pickup follows the early renewal last week of another new FOX drama, Fringe.

On the back of NCIS the Tim Roth drama is still performing for TEN too, gaining 986,000 viewers last night, #1 in its timeslot.

  1. yay……i’m soooo happy Lie to Me has got another 13 eps comming, i really like this show.

    Koverstreet, ten are getting the better US dramas cos they have got the Fox and CBS output deals. They use to have NBCU as well which brought them all 3 Law and Orders, House, Psych, Monk (not that these last 2 get played out). Anyways, with fox and cbs producing most of the hits along with WB (nine has a deal with them and brought us the mentalist, cold case and 2.5 men) ten should be getting a few more good dramas this year of course they’ve already got expected superhit NCIS:Legend.
