Lisa Rinna gives up on Melrose

kisarinna“We had a moment, and it was real fun,” says Lisa Rinna. “I’ve moved on. It’s all good.”

Yes, Lisa Rinna has (unbelievably) given up her long-standing crusade to join the cast of the CW’s Melrose Place remake.

Rinna, who these days hosts red carpet shows, started a very public campaign to convince producers she should reprise her role as Taylor McBride…

She even agreed to be filmed for a segment on Ross “The Intern” Matthews’ new web show wearing a sandwich board reading, “Honk 4 Lisa Rinna on the New Melrose Place.”

Meanwhile Thomas Calabro (Michael Mancini) and Laura Leighton (Sydney Andrews) will reprise their roles on the remake.

“I just wonder how they’re going to bring Laura back, because she was dead,” Rinna says. “I remember filming the scene. She’s dead. She’s dead. They wanna fool me and say she wasn’t, but she’s dead.”

Hey she’s gotta pay for the collagen somehow! Isn’t she married to Estes? (or is that no more?)

Frankly I’m suprised they’re trying this only one season after 90210

being desperate for something is the biggest turn off. if they wanted her on the show, they would have asked her.

This is all so, so sad. In the most pathetic of ways.

These desperate actors should Google the behaviour that killed Sean Young’s career…
