Good Game pings the 90s

Remember Quake? The Legend of Zelda? Myst? Bajo and Junglist sure do.

110Remember Quake? The Legend of Zelda? Myst? LAN networking?

And then there was Lara Croft with her perfect curves.

If so then be sure to check out Good Game tonight on ABC2 at 8:30pm.

Bajo and Junglist, complete with fitting attire, time warp back to an era when video and computer games turned major corners.

Desert Storm’s smart bombs had a huge impact on gaming. The Columbine School shootings left everybody wondering if violence in games had gone too far. Other games even had home invasions.

There was the arrival of the CD Rom. A shift from 2D to 3D graphics triggered first person shooter games. Some games even became feature films.

There’s a whole lot more in store in ABC2’s ultimate gaming show.

  1. Good Game is the show that prompted me to get a digital set top box. So I could watch it on ABC2 on Mondays.

I like their daggy humour and it keeps me vaguely updated on what games are being released.

They are really comfortable on camera and look like they are having fun.

  2. Thanks for the news update on this story, I never watch this show but loved gaming in the 90s, so this will be a good trip down nostalgic lane.

  3. Bajo & Junglist are two of the most under-rated funny bastards on TV. They’re like the UK Top Gear crew : They could be talking about paperclips but still make it sound like the funniest thing going.

  4. This is a great show for gamers. Jung and Bajo get plenty of humour in there to keep it interesting. Looking forward to tonight’s recap as the 90s were when I got into games.

  5. Love the show. Hate the “special” episodes. Still, I’m sure there’ll be some interesting (and doubtless amusing) stuff in there.
