So because Michael Jackson is dead all parodies should end? Give me a break.

Whether he’s alive or dead the context of the Scary Movie 3 scene is the same.

If an aspect of a show to come is outdated because of his passing, then obviously that must be addressed, otherwise you can’t dance around history, and chop apart a movie released years ago just because someone has passed.

@ Craig: I remember all that, they even did a reshoot on the first Spiderman movie because Spiderman spun his web between the Twin Towers and caught a Helicopter in it.

Honestly it can all get a bit much at times with everyone being so damn sensitive, what now no ads for sponges and cloth cleaners because Billy Mays The Shamwow/Slap Chop Guy from US Infomercials died overnight.

OMG not this again! It reminds me when NY shows had shots of the twin towers and in the weeks after they came down shows scrambled to edit them out. It happened, get over it. Jackson is a big star but unless a joke is in bad taste (or a segment is out-of-date then why remove it?

Scary Movie 3 is scheduled to be on 7 tonight and that includes a Michael Jackson parody. Wonder if 7 will be pulling the movie out of its schedule and will they omit that scene from transmission.
