The second series of The Sarah Jane Adventures returns to Nickelodeon this July for its second series.
The Sarah Jane Adventures, of course, features Elisabeth Sladen in the title role -the previous companion of the Third and Fourth Doctor Who timelords.
There are six two-part stories in the second season, beginning with “The Last Sontoran”: Alan Jackson (Joseph Millson) is offered a job in Washington, D.C. in the United States of America, but seeks daughter Maria’s (Yasmin Paige) and ex-wife Chrissie’s (Juliet Cowan) approval before he relocates himself and Maria there.
Recently it was announced that David Tennant would guest star in S3 of TSJA, ironically meaning it could potentially screen in Australia after we have seen his exit from Doctor Who.
This series aired in the UK last September. It airs here from Tuesday July 14 at 7.30pm.

Yes I have thought the same. Not a reflection on how his appearance on SJA would turn out but it would have been preferable if David Tennant made his exit as the Doctor on Australian TV in Doctor Who rather than SJA.
Assuming Tennant’s swansong on Doctor Who will be on ABC, it is very unlikely that even if the ABC gets SJA they will be able to show his SJA episodes in time.
I have already seen it and most of it is very good.
Yeah, this really should be on the ABCKids block. One of the best Children’s series I’ve ever seen.
Yep it looks like David will be in TSJA after he is replaced on Doctor Who, this is why ABC should have picked this and Torchwood up so we could see them in their correct order, even is ABC put it on ABC2.
