The Secret Life of the American Teenager premieres Wednesday July 22 at 7.30pm on FOX8.
The drama from ABC Family Network takes a look inside complex relationships between teenagers and their families. At California’s Grant High, band geek Amy Juergens (Shailene Woodley) discovers that she’s pregnant after a one-night stand with Ricky Underwood (Daren Kagasoff), the school’s player. The series explores how Amy’s pregnancy affects her, the baby’s father, her friends, and her family.
Molly Ringwald plays Amy’s mother while Josie Bissett and Josh Schneider also appear.
It was created by Brenda Hampton, creator of 7th Heaven.
The show has aired for two seasons in the US and production is confirmed for a third season.

I’m really looking forward to this, never new why fox8 didn’t pick it up a long time ago, I guess we won’t be seeing abc family network here in australia which I was really hopping for,
