Channel [V] will begin a nationwide search for a brand new presenter.
It will scour the country for a ‘unique young talent with an insatiable obsession and knowledge of music, passion for writing and of course, that undeniable ‘it’ factor’.
Budding presenters will have a choice of three ways to enter: by post, online and at live auditions around Australia.
A handful of finalists will compete against each other at Homebake 2009 in front of a live television audience. The winner will join current [V]Js Renee Bargh, Danny Clayton, Kyle Linahan and Jane Gazzo (pictured).
General Manager, XYZnetworks Music Channels, Shaun James said: “In 2009 Homebake celebrates their 15th anniversary of supporting and promoting Australian and New Zealand artists, and Channel [V] is honoured to have been their media partner since the festival’s inception. We are thrilled to be searching for our new [V] Presenter at this premiere Australian music festival.”
Channel [V] will announce dates for auditions and casting calls in the coming weeks.
And yes, that’s Australian Technology Park in the picture again….!
