Heroes: Knepper signs on for more

Former Prison Break star Robert Knepper shifts from guest to series regular, in another villainous role.

rkWell, I was only just recalling the very fine work of Robert Knepper on Prison Break…. now there is news he’s extended his guest appearance on Heroes to being a regular.

Originally he had signed for six episodes in yet another villainous role.

His character Samuel is the charismatic but evil Earth-moving ringleader of a travelling carnival who recruits people with special powers.

Should be worth checking out.

The question is, how much longer can the series hold up or while Knepper soon find himself in another finale?

Zachary Quinto, the enigmatic Sylar, also started off in a recurring role before becoming one of the show’s breakout stars.

  1. @Peter: As long as they keep it on 7HD at another time of the day! It looks thoroughly stunning, with its very conscious cinematography. It looks better on 7HD than any torrent, but I’ll have to download it if they move it off there.

  2. What exactly happened to heroes? It was great in season 1, and even season 2 (despite being cut short due to the writers strike).
But it just lost the plot in season 3. I found myself regularly fastforwarding parts of episodes because it was boring, but also, it seems to be going nowhere. Nothing really connects well.

Anyway, as for t-bag, great actor, but I can’t stand him because of his PB performance- that’s the thing about being type cast a bad guy, I would have trouble being friends with him in real life if all I knew of him came from PB.
Sylar on the other hand, well, I just can’t seem to shake off his nerd image from season 3 of 24, he’s just not intimidating as a bad guy (and thats partly because of season 3, where for part 1 you see him in the future as a good guy, but then he turns bad, then that future disappears and never happens, then he turns good again).

  3. I think this will be a show that should be moved to 7’s 2nd sd ch. Regardless of what type of ch it turns out to be. Maybe that way they can play it in a prime 8.30 slot. Maybe along with lost, when it returns next year.
