In this week’s crazy story from North America, U.S. Customs officers have arrested a 23-year-old woman from North Vancouver, B.C., who allegedly tried to smuggle more than $1 million worth of drugs over the border.
In a bizarre twist the pills were shaped to resemble Homer Simpson‘s head and Megatron from Transformers.
Authorities say they seized 107,734 tablets of ecstasy, found in a hidden compartment in a vehicle.
“This is the second major ecstasy seizure at the Pacific Highway Port of Entry this month, and signals the intensity of the illicit narcotic trade,” port director Greg Alvarez said.
Of course as Homer always says, “The answer to life’s problems aren’t at the bottom of a bottle, they’re on TV!”

The Transformers X is actually shaped like a Decepticon logo, not Megatron’s head.
“Mmm… me.”
Classy.
Much better reference…
This actually reminds me of an episode of The Simpsons from about 2-3 years ago, in which Homer and Grandpa smuggled pills from Canada to Springfield and distributed them to their friends because Mr Burns cancelled the nuclear power plant’s employee prescription benefit scheme.
That’s so funny!
What did the owner of the vehicle say? Probably said “Doh”
