indiana-jonesNext month fans of Indiana Jones are in for a treat on Movie One: all four movies screening (yes even the latest crappy one).

Tony Forrest CEO of Movie Network Channels commented; “We are excited and proud that Paramount Pictures and Lucasfilm elected to entrust this cherished film franchise with us. Our successful bid for the licenses for these titles will allow us to exhibit the films over the coming year in a variety of programming and promotional events for Australian STV audiences.

It follows the channel’s screening of a collection of 18 James Bond films (2006), the complete franchises of Superman and Batman (2007) and all 6 Rocky films (2008).

Brian Walsh from Foxtel added: “This is a fantastic treat for Foxtel subscribers and a real coup for Movie Network Channels. The Indiana Jones franchise is one of Hollywood’s most coveted and to showcase these magnificent titles over four big nights will undoubtedly be the highlight of our August programming. The complete adventures of Indiana Jones will be seen as they should be seen, uninterrupted. This is one to stay home for!”

The films will also screen on Austar.

  1. @DansDans,

Yeah I was a bit surprised also to see a paramount film(normally shown on Showtime as showtime has paramount as one of it studios like Icon, Fox, Universal and Sony).

  2. God, I hope Movie One are not charging for Ep 4 – the one whose name we do not mention !!!

Actually, when I read the schedule, I could only see the first 3 and then there was a blank empty space at 8:30 – Oh wait thats the movie itself !!!
