Please let's do something about the music this time. The band is great (ofcourse) . But what idiot selects the music. Too often the music played is not what the dance requires. Let's take last Sunday. There were people dancing a Cha cha to some 4/4 piece of music that was not a cha cha. Why is this. I find this particularly irritating as the whole mood of the dance is ruined. You cannot just play any old 4/4 to dance a Cha cha or a Tango. This also happened in the last series. Hardly a pasodoble was danced to the right music. It so takes away from the performance. It's a frustration to see people dance to an obvious inadequate rhythm. There are times when even the judges have a bitch about the music. I doubt that the contestants have any say in this. So judges: pull your head in and start asking questions. Does it have to do with copyright? Is it too expensive to use the right music?
I really would like to hear some reply on this.

Wow, thats intresting. I was wondering why i didnt hear them doing the long winded explaination about how they combine the votes. Great ep, and great ratings. Now it will be intresting to see if it can keep its ratings up. I guess if it got 1.5 million this week while masterchef got nearly 2 million, its done quite well. Would be intresting to see an hourly or half hourly break down of its ratings, especially for the 7.30-8.30 hour

is that true david, i thought the first elimination was
50% audience vote, 50% ep1 judges score + ep2 judges score
so if you got 21 this week and 20 next week your judges score is 41 going into elimination. i could be wrong.

very moving performance, especially when we heard from his wife. jess, his partner is a great person also. i hear this is making national news in america.

i know a lot of people hate this show. but i still think it's great light entertainment, very enjoyable, they have a great bunch of people this year. and i guess 1.57mil agree with me.

i think the standouts were emily scott, matt white, jess mcnamee, and kylie. and with lincoln assured a spot in the top 3 with the H&A markup. i expect it to be another battle of the 7 personalities this year.

Also... an often forgotten point with the first ep of DWTS is that the judges scores count for 0.

Next week's eliminated guest is based on the score of
Ep 1: Audience vote 50% + ep 2: Judges vote 50% = 100% vote.

This way it aligns up for the final. There is actually no relevant score from Ep 1 from Judges. It's just for show....

It was a great performance. but im afraid we have a clear winner with all the attention on him. You can tell audiences are falling for him already!!
