I reckon that here in Melbourne it will rate well over 1.2 million alone considering just the other day just under 900,000 watched it in Melbourne. I reckon it'll definitely be the biggest show of the year, and it might be able to beat Idol as the #1 non-sports program ever. I had said a while ago that I reckoned about 3-4 million people watch MasterChef each week, but they don't watch every episode, so the finale would probably have everyone coming in together to watch. You never know what could happen! Can’t wait to see MasterChef!
