Seven is returning Medical Emergency to screen next month.
Updated: The factual, narrated by Christopher Gabardi, is back at 8pm Sunday August 9th, in between Dancing with the Stars and Bones.
With a show wedging in between Seven’s established Sunday line-up that could be a potential opening for other networks to pick up audiences.
Corrected.

i waited and had to put up with dwts to see if medical emergency was going to be on i dont think much of you programing
Yeah they ditched it again. Check Programming posts. I’m doubtful it will appear at all while Dancing is on.
I’ve heard that Seven has shelved the return of Medical Emergency and will leave DWTS as 2 hour episodes for now. That will cause grief at Seven Perth. As I posted before, on Sunday August 9 Seven will show the Fremantle-Port Adelaide AFL clash at 5.30pm in Perth on 3 hour delay, as it is one of four “window” games that must be shown in full on Foxtel before free-to-air coverage can begin in the host city. It now means DWTS will be shown on 8.30pm and a new episode of Bones at 10.30pm.
In for Aug 9 not Aug 2.
Seems I was right the first time. Now back to Aug 9.
Seven’s tvguide actually shows Medical Emergency returning Sunday August 2nd.
According to Seven’s schedule DwtS is listed as going to 8.30pm with Bones in the 8.30pm timeslot, so unless there’s a double elimination somewhere it’d have to be the week after.
hmm. Aug 9th there will still be 7 contestants left in DWTS. this is usually still a 2hour episode. it will probably run 1/2 an hour overtime.
DWTS returns to 2hours for the final 3 episodes so ME is going to be pulled off shortly anyway.
I don’t think this is a good idea. Medical Emergency has always been a lower rating factual, and seeing surgery after a family dancing show (classified G) isn’t the best idea to keep viewers for Bones.
