@mandy – My understanding is that Three Rivers will premiere in the US on Sunday, Oct. 4 so a long way to go yet….

It was reported in The Brisbane Courier-Mail today about Ten picking up Nurse Jackie, Glee, NCIS:LA and Three Rivers. When is it likely that Three Rivers will air, does anyone know?

They’ve got a bit of spunk over at ten haven’t they? Doing a pretty cool job this year. This next wave of shows look great also. They always seem to be proactive while the other channels resort to copycating…boring.

the spearman experiment sounds great. i assume it’s named after the psychologist? if Magda said yes to it, this could be one of the top shows of the year.

Looks like an interesting second half, except for NCIS:LA although I’m sure that’ll rate its socks off and improve TEN’s dire Wednesdays. I wonder what The Spearman Experiment will be?

This should be an interesting line up.

I watched Good News Week for the first time ever on Monday and loved it reason being there was nothing else I could find appealing and not aimed at females I could watch Southpark was a repeat I have seen many times before and I am not interested in 4 corners and Sea Patrol.

Reading all these comments it says something about the state of television that Channel 10 announces it’s new exciting shows and people have seen a lot of them. I can’t help but think that the Showtime/HBO dramas and dramedys will struggle on commercial networks as fans gave up watching them live a long time ago. I think the big hits will sadly be the broad family friendly shows that appeal to families who watch tv together.

Sorry to disappoint jay jay… but HBO renewed this today.

Nurse Jackie is one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. I am loving it.

Royal Pains is another good show. David have you heard if anyone is going to pick this up as well.

That is good to hear, I was thinking that you may get something said in NCIS: Gibbs that related to NCIS: LA or something of the sort (Abby on the Phone, a TeleConference etc between the shows), and we would get it all out of sync (considering they start in the USA on the same day and are on one after the other) … like how we got Episodes of Buffy And Angel out of sync … nice work TEN.
