Channel TEN’s Tim Bailey had his work cut out for him during a live cross on TEN’s Sydney News tonight.
And he’d just finished saying how enjoyable it was to return from a holiday too…
Updated: Bailey told the Daily Telegraph “all hell broke loose” after this sequence.
He said the girl scratched his face and then continued her rampage when the live cross was cut, roughly pushing a singing teacher in the head, then punching another woman attached to the choir before running off.
“The girl was absolutely wild-eyed and physical and just out of control,” Bailey said.
Last week in the US a reporter had a spot of bother while doing a report on Michael Jackson fans.
But it was Cameron Baud on Network TEN who showed how it’s done. He didn’t miss a beat when he had some trouble at the Australian Grand Prix last year.

I love it when this happens to Tim Bailey why cant the man just report the weather like his no fuss/fanfare brother Mike Bailey.
Tim told radio show Hot30 tonight that he spent 1.5 hours in a police station telling detectives what happened yesterday. He also said the girls attacked the conductor of Australian Girls Choir and then the cameraman from Ten.

I had to snigger. I remember a year or so ago, Bailey having something thrown at him during the weather, hitting him in the eye. I think he is the biggest tool on Australian television. With Angela Bishop coming a close second.
Thought this was hilarious, could we perhaps take up a collection so Tim could get a decent haircut
I knew you were gonna report on this. I was LOL’ing at my tv when it happened. Especially how the girl was screaming! But then, everyone has given the girl what she probaly wanted….attention.

Argh! Western suburbs bogans – the only people who actually get a thrill our of live weather crosses – trying to get their 5 seconds of fame.
i feel bad for reporters when they have to put up with this stuff, in the first and seconds videos the feed should have been cut a lot earlier as it was clear after a few seconds that it was getting out of hand although it still took about 15 seconds till it was cut, i still remember seeing the incident on ten news, good on Cameron for showing the guy who’s boss lol.
ROFL! When events like this happen it’s plain hilarious!
Still, sad for Tim though. I love how the camera moved onto the girls though instead of focusing on Tim.
