Let us not forget Pre Big Brother,Jamie Oliver Cooking Specials Of All Sorts,Taken Out,Masterchef and Now this 7pm Project Ten relied a lot on American Sitcoms to fill the timeslot after Neighbours(This was well after the Hinch,Alan Jones Live and Short Lived Echo Point Era of the Nineties).Well I pray they don’t go back to the bad old days of Roseanne,Seinfeld,Everybody Loves Raymond and Friends Or Even Nanny or Mad About You Reruns.

People need to give it a chance. Interesting show, hope it succeeds. Then we might see a different programming schedule next year from TEN. There will be no need to drag on reality shows for 1.5 hours.

I honestly don’t know why they don’t have a reality show out there to do with acting (perhaps improv and rehearsed scenes) – they have dance and idol so not having like “So You Think You Can Act?” or something along those lines bewilders me.

If this fails I think they should do an improv show like whose line but not whose line – change it up a bit. They lost TGYH but it’s obviously a popular genre.

I actually think if it works we may see The Biggest Loser 4 nights a week instead of 6, perhaps taking the Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday time slots while leaving Tuesdays for the likes of Talking Bout Your Generation and Bondi Rescue and Thursdays as another option for specials and what not.

This could be very interesting, if successful, especially considering the reality shows, and even Big Brother should it return one day in the future.

I think that what TEN have done this year is great. MasterChef Australia & TBYG are fantastic programs and it shows in the ratings. We should be happy they are going for an Australian made news program rather then 6th time repeats of old American sitcoms. Good Job TEN

Wow, very great interview! I’ve always liked David Mott, he’s always been very straightforward with TEN’s screwups and humble with their successes.
This year TEN have been fantastic with their programming, not constantly moving shows around and stuff without giving it time to grow. I still personally reckon Supernatural should move to another day since it’s been given many weeks to grow and hasn’t though. The 7PM Project looks like it will be very interesting once the hosts and correspondants get into their roles as time progresses. The promos for 7PM are really good, up to TEN’s fantastic standard as usual.

“Celebrity MasterChef, 9AM with David & Kim, Out of the Blue and more” ei?

I’m intruiged to see how TEN will go about Celebrity MasterChef! I reckon if they play their cards right it could be an extremely interesting show. And would the “and more” possibly include TEN’s statement last year to revive Big Brother in the future? I actually wouldn’t mind seeing Big Brother back on Aussie TV in 2010 so long as it was completely revamped and they actually made it interesting for the social aspect of the show and not the whole “oh my good look at me I’m making out with someone I met a few days ago!” Hopefully Out of the Blue will get a fair shot again in future, similar to what Five in the UK did, replaying the entire series for those who didn’t see it on BBC.

It would be interesting in part 2 to hear what TEN think of the other FTA’s digital plans and what risk they see?

I don’t want to find something else to do at 7pm so hopefully this is ok, I am really enjoying Charlie on the telly, however I cannot stand Carrie and don’t believe she has any talent comedic or otherwise.

I am intrigued to see how she and Ruby get along though because she (Carrie) is always very passive agressive to the attractive ladies on Rove.

One last thing – the flipping desk they are sitting at is too low and as a result they are slouching all over it! Roving Entreprises may just need a new set designer, or ch 10 or whoever it is!

Notice the latest promos have canned laughter added. That’s supposed to tell me Dave Hughes said something funny and I should laugh like the “audience”. Please, drop the canned laughter. it’s so bad and sounds so phoney.
But, if it fails, Do Not bring back Big Brother. Please!
