Why The 7PM Project is also The 3:30PM Project

TEN schedules repeats of its new daily show as part of its strategy to establish an audience.

7pmTEN has scheduled repeats of The 7PM Project to air next week in the afternoons -which kinda makes it The 3:30PM Project.

The eps air at 3:30 next Tuesday – Friday and 1:30pm Saturday until August 1st. It also moves Huey’s Cooking Adventures to a 4pm slot.

3:00pm Judge Judy (As Scheduled)
3:30pm The 7PM Project
4:00pm Huey’s Cooking Adventures
4:30pm Bold & The Beautiful (As Scheduled)

Friends repeats will air at 3:30pm Mondays.

This week the new show from Roving Enterprises is researching, producing and recording five daily editions of the show. Producers say they start each day never knowing what will make up the show that night, but the rehearsals are getting everyone in the rhythm of output required.

Footage is being used as “Sneak Peeks” to air all week during MasterChef.

  1. It deserves to succeed.Having Said that With the Exception of the I’ll fated Echo Point from the Nineties,BB,Masterchef and Jamie Oliver Cooking Shows Ten has relied way too much on recycling old American Sitcoms for way too long at 7pm in the last fifteen years.
Anything has got to be better than them bringing back Friends now that Masterchef is almost over!!!!!.

  2. The talent that Roving Enterprises uses are really awkward on air. I don’t understand why they keep using them…I am not a TV industry employee, but I can see chemistry and it just isnt there.

I cringe at watching these people on Rove, they talk over each other and there is much forced laughter. I guess because they are all buddies that this situation won’t change, but they should be injecting new blood.

How will these comedians tackle serious issues when they arise? I just can’t see them making the transition.

James Mathison is the X factor in this show, as he is just naturally good at doing live improv TV (see his Channel V work and Idol banter).

Hope it works, I am a fan of The Panel and this has potential to be The Panel Lite but I see so much working against it.

  3. why do i keep hearing rubbish like “the producers and the hosts don’t even know what will be on the show each night when they wake up” ffs what a joke, do you think tony jones knows what will be on lateline each night when he wakes up each morning!

  4. Ah tall poppy sydrome is alive and well in Australia. Yeh can it before its even started. I am looking forward to something a bit more light hearted at 7. So sick of Home & Away with the same story lines year in and year out. Love 2 & Half Men though but have all of them on DVD. Bring on 7pm project. I hope it works. If its anything like Before the game, it should do ok. Just please no strauny, over him.

  5. The show is crap … as is anything featuring Dave Hughes … unfunny, unattractive and totally overrated! He does not deserve his own show!
The programmer is a fool if he thinks this kind of rubbish will work over some of the great shows they have shafted in recent months …
    Jack!

  6. i like the concept but I hope its not the same show each night of the week.

One of the many reasons Masterchief worked was that each night had a different energy and format.

I also think that they should have a different more serious fresh panelist on each night so they can tackle some stories in a slightly more serious ( not just taking the pi** way. People like Paul Barry, Ross Stevenson ( 3aw), Hedley Gritter ( RRR) would in my opinion work well.
