Idol voting lines hiccup

In just its second live semi-final performance Australian Idol already has teething problems with its voting lines.

idoltIn just its second live semi-final performance Australian Idol already has teething problems with its voting lines.

Host Andrew G told viewers that due to technical problems tonight, and tonight only, voting would be via SMS voting.

The directive was in place from the top of Tuesday’s semi-final show.

Meanwhile Stan Walker and Kate Cook have been voted through from the first semi final.

Kate Cook was so chuffed by the vote of confidence she even dropped the ‘s**t’ bomb.

The remaining four will be hoping for selection in the WildCard show on Sunday, which proved very successful for Anthony Callea many years ago.

  1. The lyrics section with the F word were not sung by whatever her name was – like all songs on Idol, it was trimmed to fit a 90 second slot and the offending verse was removed!

  2. I thought i heard that too Jeb, but wasnt too sure. It was probably another word, but sounded like the F-word.

This year has really good peoples, i just hope the Australian Public vote right.

  3. Did we also hear the F-bomb dropped during someone’s performance of Alanis Morrisette’s “You Oughta Know”? I was only half-listening, but I swear I heard it – really jumped out at me!
