According to the UK press, John Barrowman is in talks with Desperate Housewives producers for a possible upcoming role.
The Torchwood star told Radio 1 Breakfast Show he was about to meet up with bosses in LA.
“I probably shouldn’t say this but I’ve got a meeting with the execs of Desperate Housewives.
“Can you believe it, I’m going to be a Desperate Housewife!”
If it happens it will be an interesting one to watch. Could he play a romantic lead for one of the Wisteria Ladies, or possibly the gay neighbours?
Believe it when we see it….

He’s just gone top 20 in the UK chart with a cover of a crooner ‘classic’…
If John gets an opportunity to be in more US shows in future perhaps he should appear in Fringe or Sanctuary since those two shows are like Torchwood.

And if he’s on Desperate Housewives, all the more reason to watch.
His camp and cheesy grin should fit right in to Wisteria Lane’s larger than life cast of characters.
Can’t get enough Barrowman, so this would be great if it came true.
Maybe his character could be like Torchwood’s Capt Jack…he’ll do it with anything with a pulse.
