Suzi Quatro to guest judge Idol

sqRock’s original leather gal, Leather Tuscadero -I mean, Suzi Quatro- will be guest judge on Australian Idol’s first Sunday night sing-off on Sunday September 13.

Quatro is touring Oz in the month of September.

While it’s unlikely that the Idol kids will be expected to sing a Quatro number, don’t be surprised if Rock is the first theme for this year’s contest.

Everybody now…. ‘so come alive yeah, come alive, yeah….’

    Suzi Quatro this is where it all started for women in rock, and to have her as a guest judge on Australian idol, is fantastic they all should curtesy her as rock n roll royalty The queen of rock

    I love Suzi, she’s probably the original rock chick.

    Would be great seeing her judge – at least she’ll have the credibility to judge the contestants given all her decades of touring and hit songs.

    Cool! She should be good. I remember when she used to go on Hey Hey. She’d always play along with the gags and have alot of fun with them all.

    But yeah can’t imagine some of these divas rocking out to 48 Crash :)
