Amazing Race 15: Cast

This season features a contestant with Asperger's Syndrome, two Harlem Globetrotters, poker players, and a former Miss America winner.

the_amazing_race_15_castIn the fifteenth season of The Amazing Race, seven teams consist of couples who are married or dating, two teams are made up of family members, and three teams are friends or co-workers.

In addition to the first-ever contestant with Asperger’s Syndrome, the cast also includes two members of the Harlem Globetrotters, a team of professional female poker players, and a former Miss America winner.

The fifteenth season also features one of the show’s quickest eliminations ever, a “Switchback” that sent teams back to the site of one of the series’ most infamous “Roadblocks,” a surprise appearance by one of America’s most beloved entertainers, a visit to the world’s tallest building, and a twist on a Japanese game show.

Seven plans on fasttracking this season soon.

  1. Love this show, cant wait. I do wish we knew how long the task were actually taking the contestants to do. What seems like a quick task maybe actually taking a couple of hours. Eg how long did it take to fit the thai people with teeth? How long did trying to find the clue in the drawers in Phuket.

  2. “One of the quickest eliminations ever?” This reminds me of Season 10 in 2006 in which Bilal & Sa’eed were eliminated for arriving last at the Meridian Gate in the Forbidden City in Beijing, a designated midway checkpoint of the first leg. Could this happen again?

  3. Hey I agree with you NiK…I love Luke (deaf) and I am hearing impaired myself. Their signing are completely different to Australia, his mum so nice and communciated really well with him. Also, she need to sign more with another person talking. I can’t wait season 15 start soon fasttrack good on ya Seven!

  4. I often find these series repetitive with the road blocks etc. But because they are in different countires and show different cultures. The different characters always can be entertaining. I always aprreciate the diversity that they show with gay couples (or brothers in this case), cheerleaders, parents and children, siblings, lifelong friends. Some of the personalities I find annoying others I am always cheering on. Season 14 which is currenly airing I don’t know the result, even though I could, But I love Margie and Luke (the deaf bloke). They are very inspiring!
