Ding Dong & Jo Beth join Hey Hey party
More good time girls join the Hey Hey reunion, with Denise Drysdale and Jo Beth Taylor to appear next week.

Good to hear Denise Drysdale and Jo Beth Taylor are joining the Hey Hey reunions.
The inclusion of Drysdale is particularly significant given her time with the show ended on a downer. Funnyman John Blackman recently told TV Tonight, “Denise was a great performer but there was another agenda there. There was somebody else pulling some strings behind the scenes.”
Both will appear on the second reunion show, which will air on Wednesday week on Channel 9. That’s the show that is expected to also feature Ossie Ostrich, and the one on which a future for the show will hinge.
But a permanent return, as Daryl Somers noted last week, would be difficult for current cast members who already have other obligations, including Red Symons & Molly with Seven.
Taylor, who last appeared fronting the short-lived Dirty Jobs, is looking forward to the stint.
“There are so many memories and fun moments – the whole thing was such a great buzz,” she said.
THe first reunion airs this week against Celebrity Masterchef, Spicks and Specks, NCIS: Los Angeles, City Homicide, World’s Strictest Parents and Hungry Beast.

hmmm hear that???…….. thats the sound of the normal mob of people, captain by one with a hint of 70’s decade about her…sharpening their knives for thursday…or Wednesday night (after HHIS goes off air)…they will be quick to point ou the faults, and sho how the show should or should not have come back…just enjoy people and if it ordinary …then so what…
anyway….
Going through my weekly activity of programming my PVR, I notice that HHIS is been replayed on Saturday night (at least on QTQ)
Neon Kitten….. bitter much?
@ Neon Kitten
And don’t let bitterness cloud our judgement either!
With Celebrity Master Chef I will wonder how well this will do.
No Hey Hey Revival please! The reunion show would be enough.
David, I think it only right that Hey,Hey makes the Top Pick next Wednesday. I just can’t fathom why City Homicide is listed every week despite being in its 3rd season & about as stale as last Tuesday’s bread.
Seven’s Wednesdays lately have had World’s Strictest Parents and rpts of Criminal Minds, so local drama wins out over that for me. Even on Mondays it was a choice of a doco that’s been on Pay TV or that awful Beyond the Darklands. Think CM has only actually been a Top Pick twice this season.
Gee l had forgotten about Jo Beth ,so glad Denise is now confirmed for the show.
Let’s not mistake a faded legacy for a stamp of quality, now.
Goooo Ding Dong! 🙂
Good to see Denise there. She’s utterly wasted on those silly ads where she says “Australia” and “Australians” a hundred times! LOL
Silly point Ducko. Top Pick is based on many things but city of origin isn’t one of them (note the US shows that are Top Pick, and tonight’s was made by a prdn co from WA). Wednesday is a tough night but it’s pretty clear there is only one show with a 28 year legacy. That alone sets it apart from the rest.
Thank goodness, Jo Beth is the favourite to join the reunion!
Gosh David, you’re going to be in a quandary next Wednesday. How are you going to get all the Melbourne based shows in your “Top Pick”
Thats great Denise is on,she brought some much needed freshness to the show at the time as she does anywhere. It will be a tough one with CMC on as well.I think HH will win this one.A lot of people looking for this kind of variety that seems to have vanished from our screens.
I’m excited the sweetie as been away far too long. l was in love with her when she hosted funniest video’s, must see tv for sure, i didn’t give a stuff about the video’s:)
Welcome back beautiful girl
Was going to post on here about Denise the other day – she was featured on a segment on FOXFM on Friday with Daryl guessing which cast member was pretending to be Dickie Knee and it seemed rather telling. Very glad she will be back! (And still would love to know what the initial problems realy were)
