Lost: Final season poster?

Updated: A fan-created Lost poster sure had everyone talking. Spoilers? Yes. No. Maybe...

Lost Promo1Updated: The poster now appears to be fan-created having Lost fans in a spin. If it’s on the internet, it must be true!

Spoilers: Be very careful what you look at here or you may learn a bit more than you were ready to hear.

Lost has released its promo shot for its last ever season, with a jigsaw montage of key characters who have appeared across the series.

Some of those have since expired, but by the looks of this shot, will be returning. That’s hardly unusual in Lost land. As it stands, there have already been rumours about one profile character returning from the dead.

There will be 18 episodes for the sixth series, to air in early 2010.

  1. exciting news for Losr fans!

This Saturday, September 12, 2009 in Anaheim, CA, Losr cast members are going to be making a public appearance at Disney’s D23 Convention; additionally some really fantastic pieces of Losr history are going to be on display- including Kate’s toy plane, Hurley’s winning lottery ticket, Locke’s hunting knife, Sawyer’s letter and many other surprises! These items will be on view Thursday September 10 through Sunday, September 13, the entire weekend of D23, and will be up for auction after the series finale in May of 2010.

  2. Oh god, I had sooo forgotten about Lost and all the crazy goings on…

Cannot wait, I plan to rewatch from Season 3 onwards before watching the final series…

  3. I believe the final season has only *just* gone back into production as it’s not back on air until January, so any new eps showing up on torrent sites will definitely be fakes.

  4. Marco, couldn’t have put it better myself. It’s not a show for the short-attention-span generation or the impatient, but that demographic has most of the rest of TV to themselves already 🙂

  5. I and everyone else who has stuck with the show for every episode is in for one helluva final ride! I pity those who gave up in years 3-4 only to have a look in the final year to see how it all ends, because they will have missed the full journey of these marvellous characters, and the mother of all mind-bending stories. There will never be anything like it again (let’s see FlashForward first before making any comparisons whatsoever). It’s up there with Babylon 5 and Twin Peaks in some of the best television ever.

  6. hmmm a few familiar faces we thought we’d seen the end of… Typical Lost style, can’t wait for this. Yeh hopefully Seven air this at 8.30 on its new channel and if need be consistant 10.30 slot on the main one. Would it be unlikely for Seven to try it in its old Thursday 8.30 slot? With heavy promotion that its the final season and all answers will actually be revealed maybe all those viewers will come check it out again, if it flops on the first night, just shift it to 10.30.
I just feel a show that’s made such a big impact on TV should deserve to have its final episodes air at an appropriate time

  7. Would love this series to be on Seven at say 10:30pm but then repeated the next night on the 2nd channel at 8:30pm. That would be good. Then again as long as its shown close to the US i will watch in any timeslot. Cant wait for the final season. The promo poster looks awesome and i dont want to wait anymore.

  8. Love the poster … hang on, some of them were dead … but then it is Lost and nothing makes sense … will be looking forward to a final explanation at long, long last.
    Jack!

  9. I’m going to take a punt and say that Charlie did it. I am not sure what he did but i think he did it, I guess that makes sense. Can’t wait to find out what it is all about !

  10. Anyone that saw the Season 5 finale will know that this final season has a great reason to bring back dead characters. The question is, will it work if they aren’t All back?
