They could do with some new Sitcoms over at Nine.

Anyone here remember the good old days of the Cosby Show or Married With Children or Even the Bob Morrison Show.

Thanks for the info it’s amazing how big show has become even Jim Parsons said a while back on letterman that he hoped the ratings would be higher i guess thats starting to happen

Well maybe someone can correct me on this but I started watching Big bang on GO! hoping to watch it from the beginning with its double episodes.

After a few weeks it felt like I was missing something so I checked and it turns out they started airing them from about 6 episodes into Season 2!!

That means they by-passed the whole Leonard/Penny love story which was one of the main reasons I wanted to invest in the show.

I will hold further outrage until someone can confirm my findings.

I would also like to know what episode the show is up to on 9HD.

Just checked the US ratings and it’s now beating 2.5 Men in 18-49 and only just behind in TP on 13m. Before long it could be the top rating US sitcom which is astounding considering it debuted to average numbers.

@ cameron – that would be nice but it’s not likely as 2.5 men has a mass appeal while BBT is more niche. 1.2m isn’t too shabby though for a show that i thought would have a limited audience.

Best show on TV!!!! Loved it right from the start, reminds me of a mixture of Friends and Frasier (although, so far, no where near those two). I’ve already seen these episodes over the net, but can’t wait to see them again. Nine finally have their comedy double in 2.5 men and TBBT. Now just waiting for TEN to bring out the next most hilarious comedy, Modern Family, and Seven with Cougar Town.

Well that’s good news. I’ve always been a fan of The Big Bang Theory, and it’s taken a while for Nine to settle it down into a timeslot without constantly pulling it, but it’s building up an audience now that they have. Nine should take that as a lesson.

I started watching this show after a friend told me I reminded her of Sheldon. It’s one of only two programmes I watch on Nine/Go. I fear, however, Nine will do something to drive me away yet again. They’ve already annoyed me by cutting out Chuck Lorre’s witty vanity cards at the end of the credits. It amazes me how they can play that Robbie Williams clip incessantly yet the can’t afford three seconds for the vanity card. Luckily I can view these via the internet.

Warning to Nine programmers: if you impinge on my enjoyment of this show further, I will be forced to view it by other means!

Fantastic! Just hope they air it til the end of the month and return it in February same in the same timeslot along with new Two and a Half Men. Adelaide are getting Big Bang again still with not so strong ratings but have skipped a number of episodes. I feel confident we will see these episodes on Go next month. Just wished people who watch Two & a Half Men would still watch Big Bang but a few vanish and won’t give it a try. Both should get similar numbers for new episodes.

Thank you Nine for giving this show a chance to succeed and it already has. Just hope you could have the same success with new sitcoms and New Adventures of Old Christine.

@Craig I think (hope) that one of the benefits of Go! will be that they can stick shows on there and allow them to build an audience and then perhaps shift them to the main channel.

Wow, finally some good news from nine…

This show is fantastic, I don’t like many american sitcoms…. but this one is great…

and the good news is it will most likley be repeated on go !

Will we only see the episodes in November ? or will they show it over summer?
