Finally! Spearman is a travesty of television in my opinion, and hopefully on Friday it’ll do a bit better.
Hopefully the new simpsons eps should go ok for TEN. Last season went pretty well from when they went widescreen.
Cleveland Show could do alright I guess.
I have a great idea for Channel 10.Drop the 7pm Project for It The last thing we need is another news Bulletin
Daniel, M rated shows have to air after 8.30pm. Despite being on at 11pm, American Dad is usually PG classified by Seven.
Yay for new Simpsons. As for Spearman being on Fridays now, well Friday night TV is notorious for sucking.
In the US, the simpsons has a TV-PG rating which sees it have a PG rating here. Family Guy, American Dad and Cleveland Show all have TV-14 ratings. Given that Family Guy and American Dad have M ratings here it would make sense for Cleveland to have an M rating as well. I have watched the first two episodes and to me they seem to fit a PG rating. Here, at what time can a network show an M rated show? Because it would make sense to put Cleveland on straight after the all new simpsons. thats how it airs in the US on sunday nights, 8pm/8.30pm.
maybe channel 10 could be called channel Simpson’s…is there any day they don’t show a simpson’s episode
Well What Ten doesn’t realise on Friday Nights Is that most of the people who watch are out working or go somewhere with their social groups whether it be into the city or suburban areas or in some cases for the teenagers and everyone else up to 30 somethings A Church Group No Wonder Death will come to them.
It could be worse than Magda and the Spearman Experiment. How does a weekly dose of Jerry Springer sound at the time of night anybody!!!
I reckon the network realises these things very well….not sure about church groups tho!
If your mental age is equal to or less than the channel number, you will enjoy new Simpsons episodes.
The new simpsons episodes are bad, but I’d watch them any day over the Spearman experiment. In fact, I’d watch 20 to 1 over Spearman.
do we still call it fast tracked if ten have 3 new eps by the time is starts? i would think it meant literally it was on the same day, day after and at most a week later.
Magda obviously won’t have her “bike parked at Ten” for much longer.
Wow. Ten are fast-tracking Simpsons. I didn’t expect to see new episodes until February next year.
I still haven’t seen any promotion of the movie of the Simpsons and it’s meant to premiere tomorrow evening.
haha they are showing Love Actually again…are they going for a record of ‘most broadcast film on australian television’?
It might do a whole lot better than 1mil. Remember, Ten’s fast-tracking new episodes, and if I were Ten, I’d fast-track the Family Guy spin-off, soon.
Who’s tipping the next Treehouse Of Horror will be airing on Ten, around Halloween, for once?
Is Cleveland PG rated? American Dad usually is, but Family Guy is definitely not. Maybe Cleveland should go after GNW at 10pm next year? Or pair it with the few M rated Simpsons episodes in a post 8.30 time slot.
Good move by Ten, New Simpsons should do at least 1mil in its old Tuesday Slot. Problem, they dont having anything rating well until Tuesday meaning no one will know Haha. Guide have been printed already with Spearman there. Still a much better line up, hopefully the add Cleveland to 8pm soon, just not to overload the Simpsons.
Don’t worry Daniel, I am 100% positive Ten will repeat these episodes again and again and again. You will catch them eventually.
woo hoo something of worth to watch 7.30 Tuesdays!!! I wish they’d take those 8pm rpts out either launch Cleveland show at 8 or bring in The Office and give it a go!!
Good. Something to help the lineup on Tuesday. Spearman was the only thing which brang the numbers down for that night (and the 7PM failure). Agree with whoever said NCIS/Lie To Me are a killer double!
At least they didn’t axe the Spearman Experiment, good move IMO to keep it on, if it was Nine it would have gone long ago.
New simpsons are crap and have been crap since about 1999. New NCIS/Lie To Me is a killer double though!
And wow Love Actually can’t believe 10 are finally airing this classic yay!
good move by ten!! that will mean a pretty dam good line up for tues, new simpsons, new ncis, new lie to me, all great shows:) and spearman might actually work better on fridays without comp from bert
Good Move by Ten. Unfortunately I am too busy to be able to see season 21. I messed 1/2 of season 20 until it moved to Wednesdays. Parts of season 19 when it was on Tuesdays as I couldn’t get in till 7:45pm :(. I feel happy for all those that can see it, I just wish I could have it on Wednesdays like it was in part of this year and then Master Chef on Tuesdays. D’oh!
Friday night seems to be death for any show on Ten. I suppose that means they are recognising that Spearman is already a shamblinbg zombie waiting for a head shot.
There is some good coming from this – at least networks will know now that a star driven show will not work unless it is actually good. Lots of people like Magda – it does not mean they will tolerate anything she happens to be hosting or presenting.
Give her The Biggest Loser gig!
