		<description>As much as I am happy to see him in work, as he is a very talented actor, I doubt if anything will eventuate long term out of this deal.

These development deals rarely end well (Alex O&#039;Loughlin CBS, Eliza Dushku FOX &amp; Josh Lawson FOX) and end up producing turkeys that fail to rate.

It ends up costing the studios millions and then they have a cheek to stratch their heads when their tv season is once again down, having lost more viewers to cable and are still pining over loss of advertising revenue.  

American TV networks need to abandon their old ideology and move into a new business model and that does not include talent deals that go nowhere.

They might as well burn money; hang on haven&#039;t they been doing that for decades now?</description>
