Joss Whedon will direct an upcoming episode of Glee.
The creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Dollhouse and Serenity will helm one of the newly-approved ‘back nine’ episodes recently ordered by FOX. Whedon also has musical form with his renowned Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.
As co-creator Ryan Murphy confirmed: “Joss directed one of the great musical episodes in the history of television on Buffy so this is a great, if unexpected, fit. I’m thrilled he’ll be loaning us his fantastic, groundbreaking talent.”
Whedon is expected to tackle the episode after wrapping the 13-episode order for Dollhouse.

This will be great! I don’t watch Glee but will watch the Joss Whedon ep for sure. He’s a genius.

Wow, can’t wait! I have ‘Once more with feeling’ on DVD and have watched it at least 20 times and know all the songs by heart!! Combined with the clever wit of Glee, this promises to be a fantastic episode!
You have got to love Joss Whedon – his ideas are amazing and he a great director. Buffy, Angel and Dollhouse – all great shows and ‘Once more with feeling’ was such an awesome episode of Buffy.
Don’t always watch Glee but will definitely tune in for this one.
I know who Joss is but never watced a lot of Buffy so i have no idea what you are all so excited about … however, I am Loving Glee!!!
I love shows with musical numbers (one reason that I loved Eli Stone!) life should be like that, we should all burst into brilliantly choreographed dance numbers every day! Very Bollywood!
