New producer for Kerri-Anne

By David Knox on October 28, 2009 / Filed Under News 9

kerri_anneMornings with Kerri-Anne will be due for a new Executive Producer after Jebby Philips leaves the show when it finishes this year.

Confidential reports that Today show producer Tom Malone will then be looking after two shows a day.

The move is likely to create more synergy between the two formats, just as Sunrise and The Morning Show are paired on Seven.

Kerri-Anne is the best on morning TV hands down. She is fresh faced, full of energy and plays the fool very well which is rare in TV these days.

If they cut the crap out of this show they’d only be left with station promos. Anyone watching this tripe really needs to find better ways to waste their time…

It would be nice if they just did a 1 hour show from 9am-10am and cut out all the crap.

More infomercials, because there just isn’t enough on morning tv.

    David,

I had read her contract was up at the end of this year and nothing new has been signed? Has a new one been signed or was it information incorrect?

Good, maybe KAK should get a new set then just like what they did for Today show, it’s about time imho.

Synergy between Today and Mornings has been a long time coming. I tend to agree with Kerri-Anne’s annoyance when her live plug on Today was done away with. Mornings could do with a more cohesive news presence too.
