The Daily Telegraph is speculating today that Tammin Sursok has been let go by US soap The Young And The Restless.
Sursok has been with the show since 2007, playing the role of Colleen Carlton and has also appeared in the telemovie Spectacular! which aired on Nickelodeon in Australia and more recently on TEN.
She also has a film in post production, Flicka 2, and a horror film, Husk, set to go into production next year.
The former Home and Away star nabbed a Daytime Emmy nomination in her first year on the US soap.
Well, she’s dead… until they air an episode where she appears in a vision to someone or they find out it wasn’t actually her body and she was kidnapped and given facial reconstruction surgery and can be replaced by another actress.
Actually, Y & R have had no qualms about replacing actors in the past (Tammin herself replaced a different actress playing Colleen) so if they had really wanted to keep the character in the show, they would have.
Who even knew she was on Young & the Restless in the first place? The ad for spectacular was the first time she’s been heard of by most since her failed singing career and leaving the shores.
I am in Australia but download the US eps of Y&R (tragic I know!) and can confirm that her character has passed away. She drowned and her heart has now been transplanted to Victor Newman. It’s a shame because Tammin was doing quite well.
Gee thanks for the plot spoilers guys! Well the writing was on the wall. When i started watching the show again recently I did wonder why such a pretty young thing was with out a love interest, when every one else had one. Also she was off the show for a while . I’m guessing that’s when she was making “Spectacula”. The producers may have come to the conclusion her heart wasn’t really in to soaps and lessened her screen time. It is a shame that her character was killed off though, especially being so young.

I’m pretty sure she has … her character was killed off a couple of weeks ago on the episodes that are currently showing in the States. It’s a shame, not only for Tammin but for the character she was portraying because Colleen was from a core family and a main character as well
Awwwww Colleen donates her heart to Victor, how that was a match it’s beyond me but hey i’m not a doctor. First her Dad Bradly was killed off (now on Bold as Bill) and now her, no loss really (her not Brad). She apparently wants to join the Disney stable of stars full time.
Hasn’t she already finished up with Y&R? I think her last scenes have already aired in the US.
her character was killed of last week on US screens so you can upgrade this one from ‘Rumour’ to ‘Confirmed’. upon her death, her character (Colleen) donated her heart to show patriach Victor Newman so there’s no chance she’ll be making a return appearance
