Ryan, I think Ten should never have put TBYG rpts on before Idol, keep them for over Summer! As for Merlin, Im happy Ten are holding the eps for now, Merlin and MC are unstoppable duo and worked extremely well for Ten.

ten really need to aim for the 25-54 demo on fri and sat night and dont even bother with aiming for 16-39. stations should take note that abc is pretty big on sats and we all know older people watch abc mostly, ten need to bring shows that aim for older people and stop trying to grab young viewers that aren’t even home. i would prob move talkin bout your generation repeats to sat nights and bring back merlin to sundays 6.30! ten now have 6 new eps of merlin to use.

@Dave. There’s a lot of negative sentiment directed towards The 7pm Report for one very simple reason – it’s crap that doesn’t appeal to a wide audience, as its constantly dismal ratings demonstrate.

Hey Hey is like 3 weeks old and there was No Need for endless repeats.

It was Ok but did not deserve repeats. I am sure they will do another repeat, ‘and now for the final time, all 6 gripping hours together, for the first time and last time”

As i said, I actually liked the 1st show but 9 has managed to make me hate it with over saturation.

There can be such a thing of too much hey hey and they have stepped over than line.

It’s only one repeat of each show that’s hardly flogging it to death. I missed it first time around and enjoyed watching it in it’s original slot. Really looking forward to Hey Hey in 2010.

ha,ha crap ratings for the hey, hey repeat on Saturday – good. The Last Samurai would have rated alot better.

And they are flogging it to death. I was into the re-union after it aired, now with all the “encores” it has mad me hate it.

Agree with Bette’s line up for Ten Fri and Sat. Would do much better. I really think it is time the commercials rethink the idea of movies on these nights as well. If they were playing new to free to air movies then the story may be different.

why is there so much negative sentiment towards 7pm Project? Granted it is not performing the sort of figures that it would like, but other than a very competitive slot (ABC news, Home & away, 1& a half dorks) it is offering something the others are not – a different format, genuinely trying to mix up news, comment, issues, comedy and water cooler viewpoints. If Ten replaced it with reruns of futuruma or simpsons or seinfeld of god help us the nanny, darma & greg – the knives would be out. It ain’t perfect, but in a culture still feeling the need to fill itself with americana and british period & crime thrillers, we could foster Australian talent, issues and voices – i think it should be applauded, not derided at any opportunity. It still has its problems, but many shows need time. Having worked in television, and in live broadcast, to produce 5 half hours a week live is not small feat. I am not a Rove fan or affiliate.

Why the different movies on Seven last night? Looked in the TV Guide today and it shows Toy Story 1 and 2 to air at 7pm and 8.40pm.

Nine aren’t “flogging” hey hey it’s just the one repeat of show 2. And the horse is very much alive! I’m glad they edited out the bit with Harry at the end but a small edit was also made at the very beginning that I found curious,anyone know what it was??

Weekend Today jumped by 97,000 viewers from last week and soundly beating Saturday Disney. This could mean the end of cartoons on early Saturday mornings as we know it.

Another low rating night last night – giving the ABC a rare win!

But Nine/GO! win the week – thanks to 10 episodes of 2.5 men!

I enjoy the 7pm Project – but viewers prefer unfunny American sitcoms instead.

As for Fridays and Saturdays – TEN should try the following;-

Friday – 7.30pm – 90210, 8:30pm Melrose Place, 9:30pm Supernatural
Saturday – 6:30pm – Monk, 7:30 pm – Smallville , 8:30pm Psych, 9:30pm Law and Order 10:30 Dexter
