Charley Boorman for Sydney Motorcycle Show

Long Way Down's Charley Boorman will appear at the Sydney Motorcycle Show later this month.

charleyboormanLong Way Down‘s Charley Boorman will be appearing at the Sydney Motorcycle Show on Sunday November 22nd.

Boorman began his last series By Any Means 2 from Sydney in May which took him through Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, the Phillipines and Taiwan before finishing in Japan. He used quad bikes, wooden scooters, motorbikes, hovercrafts and paragliders.

He will will appear on stage from 12.30pm on Sunday November 22nd, followed by book signings of Right to the Edge: Sydney to Tokyo By Any Means.

Event Manager Mark Petersen said, “Charley is a very unique character and we’re certain visitors will delight in hearing accounts of his many adventures first-hand.”

  1. Mr Beckala is a huge fan of his work, so I’m sure I’ll be dragged along! I too was skeptical of how he would go without Ewan – I watched LWR and LWD for Ewan, but I really enjoyed By Any Means. I think he carried the show really well on his own, another really enjoyable documentary series.

  2. I’d love to meet him and have a chat bout his adventures and I’m looking forward to this new series.

    I remember reading comments in various places (possible some here too) in the past where people where skeptical of a show without Ewen, but he’s well and truly come into his own and I hope he does more.
