If it can avoid making the mistakes of the disastrous Dollhouse show, this could work, as a new version can feature forensic science that the original TV series didn’t have. The 2 disastrous Charlie’s Angels films were horrible tonally and were horribly miscast, directed and produced, plus featured hyper-unrealistic fantasy action. They could and should’ve been so much more and were turned into campy tween comedies, that were a combination of ‘Spy Kids’, meets the live action Josie and The Pussycats, Scoobie Doo and Lara Croft. They should’ve been more like ‘Alias’ meets ‘The Bourne Identity’, with the relationship melodrama of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ mixed in.

Perhaps in terms of the quality of the show it’s a success although ratings have been very good. The reviews for V have been overwhelmingly positive and most people seem to love it.

There should be two unknowns, at least one with great star power, plus one semi known. Just as Farrah & Jacklyn Smith were unknowns, while Kate Jackson had previously appeared in The Rookies.

I hope they don’t “reimagine” it too much. The previous incarnations of Angels have both been a little tongue-in-cheek, and while losing the camp factor worked for Battlestar, it ruined Bionic Woman.

Putting aside movie actress who would be the dream cast for the project?

With Eastwick ending maybe Lindsay Price, Jaime Ray Newman or Rebecca Romijn could do with a job, does Courtney Thorne-Smith have work since According to Jim ended?

I like the new V Series and hope it works here, but if the ratings drop I can see Nine shifting it to GO! without airing it on the main channel.

not a bad idea imo, some of those remakes made a lot of people cringe from the word go. but i’ve watched a few old eps on GO! and i think a remake could work.
