I think Orson will be one of them – they really ran out of ideas for his character once Bree decided she wanted a divorce, so it’s seems a natural move to me. Bree could become the Black Widow – burying husbands and boyfriends all over the place!

I can safely say that Mrs McClusky will not be among the victims.

Creator Marc Cherry and Kathryn Joosten are both on record saying they will never kill off her character as Joosten has departed several other series with her character dying.

She doesn’t want that to happen yet again in Desperate Housewives and Cherry says hes keen to have Mrs McClusky around for sometime yet.

See this is why Seven should have fast tracked this show, I know they can’t do that for all US shows or they would have nothing for the 2nd half of 2010.

As to who will be bumped I think it’s safe to say it will not be one of the leading ladies, IMO it will be one of the guys.

The main ladies no doubt will be safe, as will Tom and Mike. So that leaves Carlos (hinted at last season that he would die soon), John Rowland, Orson, the old lady across the road played by Kathryn Joosten (forgot her name at this early hour), Karl and Julie Myer as potential victims. Interesting times ahead…can’t wait!
