The Television networks and Mainstream newspapers will feel very warm and fuzzy in the Knowledge that Mr weevel gets all his news without actually thinking…kind of reminds me of a channel Nine promo of years gone by “I know everything I need to know because Nine told me so”.
I entire future lays in the hands of clowns like this.

@Todd I agree. I am a very regular viewer of Fox News and often being watching by chuckling at the stupidity but often finish up feeling patronised and frustrated before I switch off for a while… a weird emotional rollercoaster I know but somewhat addictive.

Fox News: where you’ll find no news.

I love how this so-called journalist turns the banning of a particular type of light bulb (which is widely considered to be obsolete anyway) into an argument about the right to privacy. Anyone who uses Fox News as a source for information truly represents the lowest common denominator of humanity.

The Fox News hosts are so patronising it disgusts me sometimes… but sometimes I can’t help but watch LOL.

Did he just try and use an easy bake oven as an to “climate change”?

Just because someone wrote a convincing sounding blog or book saying otherwise does not make it science. Just because the person who wrote it is a geologist or chemist does not make their opinion on climate change science.

All it makes them is an armchair expert basing their opinion on limited information and their own limited experience.

Every credible scientific organisation on the planet accept man made climate change.

The massive majority of real live actual climate scientists accept man made climate change.

Do not for a nanosecond accuse others of believing in a manufactured state of reality.

Fox News scrapes the bottom of the barrel nightly. They are a perversive political operation. Fair and Balanced? I don’t think so.

Something seems to be happening to the climate. Maybe it will be terrible, maybe it will be tolerable, maybe it will be barely a blip.

What I have doubts over is what the Media doggedly gets a hold of, misinterprets, and broadcasts in a panic to the general public. I also have doubts about the apparently contradictory statistics which can be easily manipulated to support any agenda.

I am, however, happy to see the new and beneficial technologies being developed as a consequence of this situation, all of which would’ve been a good idea anyway, even if we hadn’t had this suspiciously convenient fear-mongering to push it.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

    Joseph Goebbels quote

To much of what the vocal majority are now believing is a manufactured state of reality, there may be signs of climate change but we only as a contributor only have a very small part to play.
Ruining our entire economic structure for the sake of a very small percentage of input would be like telling our autistic child who’s one joy in life is to take long showers to stop because it affecting the environment…..please people perspective and read all the facts not just the socialist diatribe.

Haha. Loved that. Couldn’t make out most of the jumble – I guess that’s not the point. Best part was the ending exchange – the proper Brit? Haha.
