Gone: Gary Unmarried, Sexiest Beach Bodies, Most Shocking

By David Knox on November 18, 2009 / Filed Under Programming 15

gaumSeven has made some changes to its first week of summer scheduling, and so far they are an improvement.

It has deleted a number of titles that weren’t exactly inspiring.

The following are all now out:

Monday, November 30th
7:30PM Whacked Out Sports
8:00PM Gary Unmarried

Tuesday, December 1st
9:30PM Sexiest Beach Bodies

Wednesday, December 2nd
9:30PM Most Shocking

You blogged, they listened? Maybe.

Seven is yet to announce the replacement titles.

UPDATE: Some shows are back on a new night. See Seven summer update.

Even though I wont be watching Parks and Recreation, why on earth would Seven premie these shows at such a late time, do they want them to fail? I thought Seven wanted to have hits from the begining. If they put more shows on primetime and trialled them they may get better ratings, and best of all have less facutals on each night. If they dont want to respect new shows on the main channel, then put them on primetime on 7TWO.

Good move by Seven. That Gary Unmarried should never see the light of day.

what is the likelihood that 7 made these changes based on this sites comments because i was one of the many people who stated gary unmarried was a rubbish comedy and should be replaced with 30rock.
i guess a few months ago they listened to online comments regarding scrubs and put it on 8pm mondays which turned out to be quite successful.

    red herrings i say.
now that 9 has announced their schedule so can 7. can we assume 7 will release their summer schedule tomorrow arvo when they usually release their in-2-weeks schedule.

LOL when i read the headline the first thing i thought was “we blooged, they listened”, and then saw you wrote it at the bottom of article. HAHA.

30 Rock Seven, Prime time, make it happen.

What’s with Whacked Out Sports on 7TWO anyway, they had That 70s Show on for a week. Were they just finishing the 5 eps they never showed?

whacked out sports may have been a red herring from the start, it is airing on 7two so it is not likely they were going to put it on 7. they may not have ever intended on airing the others either, just wanted to throw 10 and 9 off the scent. but 10 does have the best summer schedule, and Go and 7two will be good if they stay airing what they are airing and don’t muck around with it just because it is summer non-ratings.
