Kerri-Anne from cover to cover

By David Knox on November 13, 2009 / Filed Under News 4

KAKShowbiz survivor Kerri-Anne Kennerley launched her new book People I’ve Met, Places I’ve Been yesterday -a whopping 200+ collection of her own “happy snaps” of the famous she has met during her time in the business.

Preferring not to opt for an autobiography, Kennerley says it’s a photo book with inscriptions of countless entertainment, political, sporting and unique Australians. “They may be famous, but they all have something to offer,” she said.

The roll call is certainly staggering, although recent guest Liza Minnelli, sadly was too late for the publication deadline.

Most of the pics are from Mornings with Kerri-Anne but there are a few shoulder pads and big hair pics that look like even they survived Channel TEN’s Good Morning Australia and the afternoon show Monday to Friday (hands up, who remembers that one?).

In her note for a photo attached to one Kylie Minogue, KAK rather tellingly writes, “Kylie is truly delightful and hard-working.

“She understands reinvention.”

Is this her equivalent of a Facebook photo album to boost her ego?

30 second flick throught at the book seller maybe but who would actually buy that book?!

Monday to Friday – I vaguely remember that one.

That was shown in the early part of this decade wasn’t it? Either way it was short-lived from what I recall.

Rather much like that other afternoon show hosted by Penny Cook about a decade ago on Ch. 10.
